At seven years old, on a Spanish campsite, I still recall one of my core memories, building grounded structures for ants, worms, and “Beatles” of all kinds. My parents, who nurtured my fascination, patiently watched as I enthusiastically constructed worlds through the dirt for these little critters. Back then, in this childhood innocence, I believed that even the smallest, abstract lives deserved sincere and harmonious shelters, places of warmth and rest. Balanced in situ.
Today, as a contemporary designer-artist, I channel that same spirit of care and curiosity into my creative work. With a layered, analytical approach, I delve into the complexities of design not only to create but to explore and challenge. My work is driven by a commitment to aesthetic and ethical integrity, underpinned by a process-focused, thoughtful exploration that bridges rigorous conceptual thinking with moments of spontaneity and wonder.
My designs reflect a belief that creativity has the power to reveal life’s intrinsic beauty. Through a self-directed, inquisitive practice, I aim to create compositions, craft & infrastructure that are both remarkable and meaningful, inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and connect with themselves and or others. I dare to ensure versatility and relevance across my work by carefully choosing materials and techniques to suit each narrative. Diplomatically.
Ultimately, I hope to awaken a shared novelty, kindness, and joy in those who engage with my creations—a reminder that even the most analytical paths in design can lead us toward a deeper appreciation of life’s nuances and the quiet beauty of its contradictions. Wherein I strive to leave the audience of my work with a sense of humorous empowerment, (self-)care, and (inner) peace.
